After a coffee and Danish Pastry in Olivos it was a good brisk walk to Seagrove Bay. The horrendous winds of yesterday had eased and the sun even came out. The forecast was for more high winds this afternoon and rain so it was a shorter trip to the Island than usual but delightful none the less, made even more delightful when we bumped into a builder friend who is currently renovating a house in Springvale before starting on another housebuilding project in Seaview. Then a pleasant walk back to Ryde and the Hover home before the rain came.

And of the DI Andy Horton series Blood on the Sand is set on the Island, and the new DI Horton A Killing Coast which will be published on 26 January is partly set there.
Now I'm back at the computer and on with some writing, refreshed and raring to go.
